Getting started

How to use AcquireEU

Five workflows that cover 90% of how dealmakers use the platform.

1

Browse and filter companies

Finding relevant targets in the database

Go to Browse to access the full database of 24,000+ active insolvency filings.

Filter by:

  • Country — pick one or browse all 29 countries
  • Stage — Administration, Restructuring, Liquidation, Asset Sale, or Receivership
  • Sector — filter by industry
  • Search — free text matches company name, region, sector, and description

Filter URLs are shareable — bookmark your preferred view or share it with colleagues.

Click any company to see its full profile including practitioner contact details and deeper company intelligence (Team plan).

2

Set up daily alerts

Get new filings emailed to you every morning (Team plan)

Go to Account → Alerts and enable daily email alerts.

Set your filters:

  • Select one or more countries
  • Select one or more stages
  • Add sector keywords (optional)

Every morning at 7am UTC, AcquireEU checks for new filings matching your criteria. If there are matches, you receive an email digest. If not, no email.

Slack alerts: Paste your Slack incoming webhook URL to also receive a Slack notification with the top matches.

3

Save companies and take notes

Build your private deal pipeline

On any company detail page, click Save to Watchlist. The company is immediately added to your private watchlist.

Go to Account → Watchlist to see all saved companies. Click any company to add private notes (up to 2,000 characters). Notes are visible only to you — not to your team members.

Use notes to track: first contact date, practitioner response, deal status, valuation notes, or anything else relevant to your pipeline.

4

Export to CSV

Bring your deal flow into your CRM

Two ways to export:

  • Browse page — apply your filters, then click Export CSV. Downloads the current filtered results.
  • Watchlist page — click Export CSV to download only your saved companies.

CSV columns: Company name, Country, Region, Sector, Stage, Filed date, Employee range, Revenue range, Case number, Practitioner name, Practitioner firm, Practitioner email, Source URL.

The CSV imports cleanly into Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, Salesforce, or any spreadsheet.

5

Use company intelligence to triage fast

Team plan only

On any company detail page (Team plan), generate Company Intelligence to get a faster first-pass view of what the filing may represent. AcquireEU returns:

  • A score from 1 (avoid) to 5 (highly attractive)
  • A one-sentence rationale
  • Up to 5 acquisition signals

Scores are cached for 30 days so you do not keep regenerating the same company context repeatedly. They should be treated as supporting triage context, not financial advice.

Use this to triage 50+ companies quickly before spending time on detailed due diligence.
